When I decided to apply for Green Card I wanted to find the right attorney to get real help. I was told that many of them are just telling you what paperwork you have to complete, and they just collect the paperwork and send it to the USCIS. But the forms can easily be found on the USCIS website, and you do not need an attorney for that unless you want to waste your money.

My attorney worked with me very hard to help me to write a Personal Statement and a cover letter to improve my English and underline my credentials (that were written in specific terms in my field and unevenly spread out through the statement), making them more visible and understandable to the USCIS. Yo contrate a Serving Immigrants para que me ayudara en someter una apelacioin en el 2008. Yo soy originalmente de Mexico, pero vivo en la ciudad de Miami, Florida y los contacte por medio del email de sus paginas en el sitio de ellos en el internet. El proceso que implementan es simple y muy facil. Ellos llenaron todos los formularios que yo necesitaba para someter my aplicacion I me enviaron por correo del internet unos documentos que necesitaban ser firmados por mi. Yo imprimi los formularios en mi propia computadora y despues firme esos formularios como me pidieron en un total de pocas horas. Despues yo los envie de vuelta a ellos utilizando el internet. Yo les pague a ellos el impuesto para que se aceptara mi apelacion en la Junta de Apelaciones de Inmigracion y tambien pague el costo fijo que cobraron por representarme en la apelacion. El costo por representarme en mi apelacion fue significantemente menos costoso de lo que me habian estimado otros abogados que busque en el internet para representarme en mi apelacion. Aproximadamente en 3 dias recibi por medio del internet pruebas de que la Junta de Apelaciones de Inmigracion recibieron my apelacion a tiempo, y en aproximadamente 3 meses mas, recibi pruebas de ellos de que habian entregado los escritos legales correspondientes a la Junta de Apelaciones de Inmigracion. Cualequier pregunta que tuvieron se comunicaron conmigo por telefono o por email. El pasado Marzo del 2011, recibi una copia de la Junta de Apelaciones de Inmigracion aprobando mi apelacion y noticia de que habian regresado el caso donde el Juez de Inmigracion que yo tenia, Este Juez ya aprobo mi peticion de residencia (ajustamiento) porque esta firma de abogados comprobo en la apelacion anterior de que yo era elegible para recibir mi ajustamiento a residente permanente sin tener que viajar a mi pais de origen.
